Workshop ‘collective painting ‘

Introduction to the workshop

The collective workshop consists in creating a common canvas where, in small steps, participants add their touches to a canvas. Everyone puts their own color, emotion, symbol or whatever is on their mind at the time.

Whatever the result of the painting, the process of creating together awakens a sense of belonging in the participants. Because when we create together, we are led to deposit a part of ourselves on the canvas, while respecting the work already accomplished by previous people and making sure to leave room for those who follow.

By creating together, we connect to our souls, to each other and to the world around us. At the same time, we rediscover the curiosity and lucidity of our inner child that we too often ignore, and remember that we are part of a whole, an ecosystem, a whole.

For whom?

The collective workshop is designed for anyone or any organization wishing to offer a fun, collective activity, whether for team-building, a cultural event, a family celebration, or any other similar occasion.

Workshop sequence

– The duration is adapted to your requirements, as well as to the chosen painting format.

Home

– I bring the necessary material and animate for the specified time. Participants speak in dribs and drabs. I explain the rules of the game and give advice on colors, textures and paint application.

Painting workshop

– On the canvas, each person adds his or her own color, expresses an emotion, draws a symbol, or gives free rein to what’s on his or her mind at the moment. It’s a collaborative work in which each personal touch is integrated into the whole, forming a creation rich in diversity and spontaneity.

Don't worry about a thing!

All necessary materials are provided: canvas, brushes, paints and other creative tools. If you’d like to work on a different medium, you can also bring your own canvas.

We’ll take care of all the clean-up after the workshop, so you can enjoy your experience to the full without any hassle.

Finally, each participant leaves with his or her own creation, a unique souvenir of this moment of sharing and collective creativity.
