Why turn to art?

Practicing an art allows us to explore other facets of ourselves, to let our creativity emerge and express ourselves. Art gives us access to the invisible, the unspeakable. Reinforcing creativity is particularly valuable because, by putting imagination and creativity back into motion, we regain awareness and confidence in ourselves.

The benefits of art are manifold

Artistic techniques such as writing, drawing, painting, etc. enable concepts to emerge, objectives to be defined and visualized, and elements to be made aware of that are not revealed by the spoken word and the analytical mind.

Art engages the body, the heart and the brain. The body, because we put ourselves into action when we create a work of art. The heart, because art connects us to our emotions, sensitivity and empathy. The brain, because this process allows information to emerge and connections to be made between what is experienced there in contact with the art and our experience with those around us.
